An Art Village in the Jnana Bharathi Campus
Kalagrama, an art village within the Jnana Bharathi campus of BU, spread over 22 acres of land was inaugurated on Thursday by Chief Minister Mr. H.D.Kumaraswamy. It comprises of an open air theatre, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Kala Kendra, cottages, Kuvempu Bhasha Bharathi etc. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kumaraswamy said that this project will not only reflect the past, but also a guide to the future of the State. The art village has been built at a cost of Rs.140 lakhs.
