Ah, here it is again, Valentines Day. Not that any of us (man or woman) needs to make obvious the affection that prevails betwixt the two sexes, but for sure, somehow, things change on this day.

The two sexes seem to befriend each other with that extra touch of freedom (which for some reason appears to motivate the men more, or rather inject in them that extra bit of courage!). This catalytic change in attitude towards the fairer sex makes for numerous opportunities that the women take advantage of. And well, finally, the day is spent (more money than time!!) keeping the woman as cheerful as possible. But what about the poor chap…do the women ever find out what he wants…how about a Geisha Girl!

An ancient art that has been rivaled by many, the Geisha girl is one who allows men to feel as though they are royalty. They were taught within extremely strict guidelines how to make him feel as though he were the only one around. They learned to become masters of seductive traits. How to groom themselves with perfection, be attentive, smart, humorous and elegant. They took lessons in music, storytelling, playing games and most importantly, secrecy. They could allow the men who came to them the devotion of time, attention and respect that they deserved.

Surprisingly enough, geishas, who are thought to be high-paid servants or even prostitutes, offered no services other than what the person who has paid for their time asks for. Most often sex was not a factor. Men simply wanted to have the company of someone who would allow them to feel important and valuable.

Perhaps that's what men are looking for…that fictional, fair sex friend…. how 'fair' is this Valentine going to be….
